Glenachulish to provide ferry link at Stromeferry
Glenachulish, the Glenelg car ferry is pressed into service to save the day at Stromeferry. Due to the road being closed for how long?? she will be ferrying vehicles to and fro between Stromeferry North and Stromeferry South.
Starting on Monday 16th January 2012 the Glenachulish will operate a car ferry between the two Stromes. The time table is a bit sketchy at the moment but it is believed that they will start at 08:30 and finish at 17:00. There will be a service on Saturday but are unsure of a service on Sunday. Check the Stromeferry updates for the latest.
Word on the ground is that the ferry service will run for at least a month.
