A Wee Village in the Highlands of Scotland.
Rumours abound that a Chinese take away will set up shop in the old flower shop. Planning permission has been granted apparently. We are now spoiled for choice, chips, curries, and special fried rice, we cant wait! Anyone with more info drop us a line via the contact button.

The summer has past and now we head into the winter months, the temperature drops, the snow gets lower on the hills, hurricane winds batter us from all sides and horizontal rain soaks everything in sight..........very much like our summer weather!

The replacement Lifeboat for Kyle arrived on the 13/12/11. The Spirit of Fred.Olsen as she is known will replace the now ageing Alexander Cattanach. She is an Atlantic 85 and now is equipped with radar, onboard camera, direction finder and is propelled by twin 115hp Yamaha's

Buth Beag (the Wee shop) opened its doors in the summer months and has been delighting customers with there exotic collection of to name a few, Italian pastas and Risotto, fresh locally caught prawn and crab rolls, cheeses, smoked meats, Cullen skink and Italian coffee to go.

Hectors 2 go is the local chippy. Moved from Hectors bothy to the old post office, Hector can supply all the traditional fish and chips etc that you may require. Also more exotic fare can be had in the guise of Kebabs, pizzas and the like.
